Jasne Okocimskie was created in homage to Jan Goetz Okocimski. It is a classic lager with a golden colour. The beer proudly reveals a full malt flavour, only to surprise with a pleasant bitterness and hoppy aroma moments later. The alcohol content is 5.0%, bitterness content is 17 IBU, and the extract is 11.3%. The ideal serving temperature is 6 degrees Celsius.
The foundations of Okocim beer are: a passion for brewing, the experience of brewers, and the 180-year history of the Okocim Brewery in Brzesko. The history of the Okocim beer and brand dates back to 1845, when Jan Ewangelista Goetz founded a brewery in Okocim – now one of the oldest in Poland. Jan Goetz was one of the most prominent personalities in the brewing world of the time, not only a brewer and entrepreneur but also an active local social activist and philanthropist. In his brewery, he used only the best barley malt, hops, high-quality yeast, and water, guided by the principle of "the best of the best." This was his motto, which continues to inspire contemporary Okocim brewers.
