Taste:

Mocne Dubeltowe was brewed in the Okocim Brewery as one of the first strong beers in Poland and remains unparalleled. Mocne Dubeltowe is an excellent choice for enthusiasts of distinct flavours – it is essential, expressive, and determined. A dense foam hides the amber beverage with a beautiful, deep colour. You can sense solid foundations in the beer: notes of grain and malt, and a characteristic hop bitterness. Mocne Dubeltowe is a winner of many beer competitions, including Golden Beer Poland 2013. This is a bottom-fermented beer, with an alcohol content of 6.5%, bitterness of 21 IBU, and an extract of 13.5%. The best serving temperature is 6 degrees Celsius. Mocne Dubeltowe is served in a mug, pokal (goblet), or a glass.

History:

At the foundation of Okocim beer lie: a passion for brewing, the experience of brewers, and the 180-year history of the Okocim Brewery in Brzesko. The history of Okocim beer and the brand dates back to 1845, when Jan Ewangelista Goetz founded a brewery in Okocim – currently one of the oldest in Poland. Jan Goetz was one of the most outstanding personalities in the brewing world of the time, not only a brewer and entrepreneur but also an active local social activist and philanthropist. In his brewery, he used only the best barley malt, hops, high-quality yeast, and water, guided by the principle of "the best of the best". This was his motto, which also guides contemporary Okocim brewers.
