Okocim O.K. Beer (EN)

We have been brewing and exporting O.K. Beer to countries all over the world for over 50 years! It is our iconic beer with many faces and one unique flavour. For native beer drinkers, it's simply called "Okejka," for others "Krakowianka," and on the other hemisphere, it is called Stawski – in honour of the Pole who made our brewery famous overseas. Regardless of what it was called, this beer was considered by many to be the best brewed in the country. That is why today, mainly available near the brewery, it disappears from the shelves so quickly that it is difficult to hunt down. It was also awarded a gold medal in the "Chmielaki Krasnostawskie 2016" competition in the European Mild Lager category.

History:

The foundations of Okocim beer are: a passion for brewing, the experience of brewers, and the 180-year history of the Okocim Brewery in Brzesko. The history of the Okocim beer and brand dates back to 1845, when Jan Ewangelista Goetz founded a brewery in Okocim – now one of the oldest in Poland. Jan Goetz was one of the most prominent personalities in the brewing world of the time, not only a brewer and entrepreneur but also an active local social activist and philanthropist. In his brewery, he used only the best barley malt, hops, high-quality yeast, and water, guided by the principle of "the best of the best." This was his motto, which continues to inspire contemporary Okocim brewers.
